Maybe you could upload a video showing all sides of your cube after completing the alg , it will be clearer .

The algorithm posted by Steve above is not the same one he uses in Cube3 - while it works, the one he uses appears much more random / mixed looking. The algorithm he posted in this thread yields checkerboards on two of the "mixed" sides. The second algorithm, posted by James and Derek, while it too works, also shows a checkerboard pattern on two of the "mixed" edges (as shown in the 3D image on the Reddit site.) Are additional algorithms available, preferably more random looking ones? Thanks! |

After another review, I realize that Steve is using a gaffed cube on Cube3. So I think the algorithms supplied are probably as good as we can expect with a standard cube - still a sweet effect!

I thought Steven's algo on the millisecond solve is the original? Will take another look at the videos...

I have been using the alg he posted here without a problem ... At least my audience is truly fooled . For me , I think the alg provided by him had mixed the 3 sides of cube well enough and to those not into curbing , it's impossible to realize that only 3 sides are mixed when shown for just a brief moment before the drop .

Before Steven posted his algo for the millisecond solve, I went to Reddit and asked the cubers to help me with an algo that would give three sides solved/three sides mixed. They gave it to me in record time. I didn't post it because Steven had not given up his yet. After he posted his, I posted the one above on Nov. 27th, 2015. I also posted the link for the cube generator the Reddit cubers showed me.
It's here and you can program your own algo into it. https://alg.cubing.net/?alg=F-_B_R_F_U_D......tup=x2_y James

Closer inspection revealed he has more going on there, a subtlety anyone could add if they wanted to. It's very possible that to get into the position required with a standard cube, the two algorithms given in this thread (with very similar outcomes) are as good as you're going to get. I'm glad to hear it's working well for you! |

I love the fact that the tedious task of solving a normal cube from scratch is made so simply easy and understandable for anyone and everyone that solving the cube becomes a breeze. It took me about 1-2 days to fully know how to solve a Rubik's cube from scratch and about 1 week to solve it with great speed. All this made available at your finger tips if you purchase this gr8 Cube3 effect!!

I might have missed this when I was looking for it, but is routining a ser covered on the DVD?
I've read a bunch of revues of Cube3, which covers a bunch of moves, but I keep asking myself how the heck do they fit together in a routine. |

However, there's flexibility for you to create your own routine once you've got everything down. For instance, you could start with the basic solve the proceed with a bag solve then end with an imagination solve... For the colour match, it's not taught however, you could easily devise your own system through the moves and concepts he taught. If you want more possibilities, you could also purchase Cube FX and The Cube. But I honestly feel Cube3 is suffice |

Thank you, Ruzifa.
It's an amazing piece. I keep telling myself that I have enough 'stuff', but I always seem to find something else that I can't live without. At my age, I should know better. |
