What do you think about "Piatt Envelope" ?
Is it clean ? |

There are two different kinds in the package. I use the smaller manila version and it is very clean! You can put in two cards in the envelope, open it and show it empty. Very nice.

There are several routines included when you buy Piatt Envelope. You can do hundreds of applications with this smart tool. You can also use it for any small objects like: coins, chips, business cards etc.
I think its worth the cash... |

I totally prefer the Piatt Envelope as opposed to using two sided cards etc. It is built magnificently and is a Magician's best friend.

My first set had too-weak glue on the flap* and was unusable. The glue needs to be a weak adhesive that re-attaches many times, similar to that found on Post-It notes. I doubt it can be found at office supply stores, although I admit I haven't looked hard.
All this being said I use the second and third sets I ordered, and felt they were worth the price. |

After you have bought the Piatt envelopes, would it be easy to make up your own spares using the Piatts as a template ?

If you ever get a set with weak glue you can buy Post-It glue sticks (like Pritt only using Post-It repositional glue) from any good Office Supply store.

I thought that the Piatt Envelope had 4 compartments. Am I wrong about that?

When they finally fall apart, it is easy to make your own.

Yes, I steamed my original open to get the template net and enlarged it 5 times for a bigger envelope to use for parlour.
The Alan Wong Tyvek himber envelopes are beautiful, even steaming them open to get the template, I don’t think I could remake them as nice as what’s produced - especially using Tyvek. |
