I am very excited by this, and just have to spread the word. History Network News is a news site with a historic slant, and they get 600,000 visitors a month. A huge following. And this week they have featured a piece by me on capital punishment. I don't know will it result in a single extra sale of my book, but I am still delighted at this exposure.

Very nice, congrats.

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley. "...as we reason and love, we are able to hope. And hope enables us to resist those things that would enslave us." |

Congratulations, Tony!
Looking through Amazon, the Richard Harris bio looks interesting too. Did you get to speak with him?

I actually performed magic for him, when he gathered his whole extended family in an Irish castle for Christmas. At that time he was off the drink, so we had a pint of Guinness together after the show (being off the drink in Ireland often excludes Guinness for some strange reason). The Harris book was written with a co-author. One of us was more diligent in fact-checking, doing original research, and writing in good solid plain English. I won't say which one, but the end product has ups and downs! The early section, on his childhood, is more comprehensive than any other biography out there. The section on his film work less so.

Ha, I think I can read between the lines!
I am hesitant to say it, but somewhere in my ancestral home is a scratchy 45 rpm single record of MacArthur Park. But the one thing I wished I had seen of his was The Ginger Man, because I could imagine no other actor playing Dangerfield. Anyway, best of luck with the new book.
