Like many of you I have a ton of dvd's and books and am always looking to either create, tweak, or find an effect that will fit into my restaurant work. While on vacation in South Carolina a week or so ago ( yes during the flood) my wife and I were confined to our condo. I took a few magic dvds with me one of which was iCandy by Lee Smith and Gary Jones.
I was refreshing the routine 3c in my mind which is a great coin routine I wanted to start preforming. I then came across a card routine called Kick Back Kings and Kick Back Kicker. I performed this at my restaurant gig last night and I have to tell you the reactions were fantastic. I'm very picky regarding effects I perform whether it be cards or whatever because of time restraints or space and most importantly audience impact. This has found a permanent spot in my performing repertoire. This also past with flying colors the "wife test". She has seen so many of my routines but she was really shocked at the outcome. She said what she was expecting to happen didn't and took here completely by surprise. The guys at the bar just through their hands in the air and started clapping. That's what I'm looking for. Great dvd too.
Guilt will betray you before technique betrays you!

I agree. I do Kick Back Kings table hopping as well as 3C and some others from the dvd ICandy. One of my favorite dvds I own.
