Hello,
My name is Glenn, I live in SW Florida, Port Charlotte. I was born in 1959 and was into magic allot when young and then the guitar and girls created distractions. I am back with a new interest in it. I had a cape, magic table, etc. all of it is gone except this "silk" which is in quotes because I am not sure it is even silk. It measures 30x31" from side to side which is probably a wrong way to measure. I remember using this with the Floating Zombie. It seems odd to me that it is in such great condition, even the folding creases are sharp. I had this when I lived in Long Island, NY but I ordered through the mail allot. The background color is a kind of dark bronze. Thanks for responding. Glenn Click here to view attached image. |

This was a standard issue item, sold by magic shops around the country. It is a synthetic foulard material and sold for about 13 dollars in 1978. The same pattern was available in several color combinations. We sold them at Hollywood Magic and yours could have come from there.

All I know is that is some beautiful work...not like what you encounter in today's market.

Thanks JNeal, I thought it might be something like that. Mike Gilbert I agree with you. This is the only piece of magic equipment of my youth that ever had me in awe.
