The service and wait times have been the only problem in my experience. I'm glad to hear he has a plan to address the root issue instead of the symptoms, since that has obviously not worked. Rick is a creator who didn't know what he was getting into when his demand outstripped the amount of time he had to make the stuff. Rick's intentions and the quality of his products have always been great.

Hello Peoples, I'm a loooong time lurker, but recently decided to jump in a little more. So first, HELLO!!! : )
Next, I own a few items from Rick and he's never been anything other than a stand up guy. Keep in mind, people have lives and things sometimes happen. I'm confident if you were to contact Rick directly, he would most assuredly assist you. |

I've been hesitant to buy in the past because of these stories but I think the addition of "In Stock" items will help tremendously. I'll start there. Would love a Hobbs Box at some point. Maybe if they show in stock or if they make it to ECSS II I'll pick one up. We'll see.
I've never heard a complaint on OE's quality. Only shipping speed. |

Fwiw, I recently purchased two items that were listed as in-stock. One was shipped immediately. Love it. The other was listed on the received item's shipping notice as out-of-stock, but I did receive it 2 or 3 weeks later or so. Rick (whom I do not know personally) communicated promptly and frequently with me about the product's status. The bottom line for me then is that the goods are so superb that they're worth the short delay. I'll be ordering again from Rick soon.

I too have had good service and prompt replies to my questions. I placed an order with Rick last week and had a question about the delivery. My email was answered quickly and my question answered. I received my item as Rick promised...I am very happy with my item...and Rick's service. I know and understand the frustrations some of my compeers have experienced with OutLaw...but I feel that Rick is trying to turn things around at his end...and I believe he will. So don't give up... I send you Email on 6,Oct to remind your promise, that I will have my items before Halloween, you send me a reply on 31,Oct said it’s happening, (you need 25days to reply a following email that already wait more than one year?) On 16,Nov you said I will have tracking that week,(so 16days later, the order still not yet finish? But I got a Email on 1-Oct that you said will ship that week, are you kidding me? Or that’s Karls problem he need 6weeks to install the Coil?) On 21-Nov you need to confirm my order again… (and now 23,Nov I still don’t have tracking and don’t know the process. One week later, those item haven’t finish or got follow?) You said: "It pains me to see some items take 2-3 months to ship or longer. On certain popular items that will be changing." If your partners have any problem, should you send Email to tell customer what’s going on and how you are going to fix? You didn’t. You always said ship this week Try to “convince” customers. Rick, please don’t ignore your customers following email and think Time will make them feeling tired and stop chase their orders. It works sometimes, but this Ruin your business, Ruin your Brand. Is it? Let’s go back to my order, may I know the process of The Departed + Dark Dawn Tarot, Ash, The Ring and Gypsy card? And please tell me the shipping time with tracking? W.D.

FWIW, I've ordered a half a dozen or so items from OE and always received them promptly. The few times I've had questions, I've received replies quickly.

I've often been tempted by Outlaw Effects but scared off by seeing over and over again these kind of queries / complaints.
And yet every new product that is launched by OE all of the negatives will be forgotten and the sycophancy will begin again. |

Once you own a couple OE products you will start looking around for what you can sell to finance the next purchase.
And once you finally do receive it the daily mailman anticipation vanishes and there is no longer a reason to check the mailbox. And then you place the next order and start the mailbox game again. It's an addiction. But not a bad one.
