Thanks for making this such a great thread, everyone! There's only a few hours left to vote (Feb.01 was decided as the deadline in order to give people time to work with items that were released at the end of December) so we're almost there!
I'll announce the winner at noon (Pacific time) tomorrow! Good luck and remember that even if you only got a single vote, someone thinks that your work is the best they've seen all year. It's an honor, so feel great about it!

The votes are in! That took a while; but the “less than 50s” have been subtracted (as have any doubles) and I have to say that a lot of new members have joined in and have become welcome additions to our awesome community!
So, Thanks to everyone who has joined in and congratulations to anyone who received even a single vote! Your work has changed someone’s life! _________________________________________________________________ Without further ado, congratulations to… Svenpad Supreme by Brett Barry - the official winner of the 2015 HOUDIN AWARD Jean Eugene Robert-Houdin is known as the father of modern magic. Born Jean Eugene Robert, he took the "Houdin" portion when he married the daughter of one of the few watchmakers of the time who was still using old world techniques; Jacques Francois Houdin. This award is named in honor of love and the adding of something to yourself to make you better (in his case, the name), the nature of watchmaking and experimenting (something I think we, as creators all do!) and the joy that doing something we love will always bring us. And let’s not forget The Thurston Award!
For the second year in a row, Congratulations to… Craig Filicetti - Craig is the official winner of the 2015 THURSTON AWARD The Thurston Award is awarded to someone who has not only created a trick this current year but who has provided excellent customer service, honor to our art, or has shown themselves to be worthy of recognition even though their effect didn't win The Houdin. I hope that makes sense! It will also (hopefully) help usher in new creators with the mindset that how you treat your customers and are remembered is just as important as the effect you've created. THE THURSTON AWARD 1) Craig Filicetti (24 votes) Andi Gladwin (2 vote) Atlas Brookings (1 vote) Brett Barry (5 vote) Cesar Alonso (3 vote) Christopher J. For the record, though I only voted for Mentalist Symbol Pack, I have purchased several other fine tricks this year but haven't had time to play with them yet. That being said, I was just looking at Fobulous and upon reading the instructions I realized it's even more clever than I first thought. So a posthumous (?) vote for Fobulous.
