Blomberg Laboratories would get my vote!

I just picked up Blomberg Laboratories a couple of weeks ago... And I suspect that if I had read it earlier in the year it would have got my vote too.
Unfortunately I've not finished it yet (in fact I'm no where near the end!) so I couldn't vote for it - but I am really enjoying it. |

Rasp in answer to your question please read the following quote.

I know my vote probably won't count but I loved Destination Zero by John Bannon. Every trick in it is brilliant.

Like most magic readers I already have way too many books of tricks, really loved I Lie for Money by Steve Spill. A ton to learn between the lines and real life experience from a working pro, plus it's wicked funny.

The way I do the count is that for the current leaderboard, I've counted everyone's vote, no matter what their post count. On Feb.01, I'll go back through the thread and subtract anyone who doesn't have at least 50 posts and any doubles I find. It takes a while, but I've found it to be the best system. So, for example, The Black Project by Looch would actually have 42 votes and Blomberg Laboratories by Andi Gladwin would have 31 votes. This was done in an attempt to eliminate people from signing up just to vote for their pal- and to encourage people to take part in our awesome community that we're all a part of! Current Leaderboard: ______________________________________________________ 1) The Black Project by Looch (49 votes) 2) Blomberg Laboratories by Andi Gladwin (43 votes) 3) Destination Zero by John Bannon (17 votes) 7 Mysteries by The Jack (1 vote) Alan Shaxon: Sophisticated Sorcerer by Shaxon/Short/Penrose (1 vote) Applesauce by Patrick Redford (7 votes) Bairn by Kennedy (16 votes) Calculated Risk Plus by Michael Murray(3 votes) Card Delusions by Ryan Matney (1 vote) Crafted With Carey by John Carey (4 votes) Embryos by Paul Prater (11 votes) Epiphanies by Colin McLeod (8 vote) Hidden Things by T. Everett Bookings III(1 vote) I Lie For Money by Steve Spill (6 votes) Impromptu by Martin Gardner (5 votes) Inspirations by Lawrence Hass (4 vote) Jawdroppers by Harry Lorayne (8 votes) Kahnjuring by Scott Kahn (1 vote) Kids Show Masterplan by Danny Orleans (1 vote) Labrynth by Stephen Hobbs (1 vote) Locked by Jim Kleefeld(6 votes) Magica Analytica II by Larry Barnowsky(3 votes) Minimalistica by John Carey (4 votes) Not A Dianoetic Rage by Tom Baxter(1 vote) Phasmology by Prof BC (3 votes) Road Scholar: Everything I Own Has A Handle Or Wheels, by Dick Oslund (2 votes) Tenyoism by Richard Kaufmann (12 votes) Tequila Hustler by Mark Elsdon (10 votes) The Bammo Ten Card Deal Dossier by Bob Farmer (17 votes) The Death Camp Magicians by Rauscher(1 vote) The Devil's Staircase by Greg Chapman (3 vote) The Experts at the Card Table by David Ben(1 vote) The Psychic Mafia by Keene (1 vote) The Solution by Atlas Brookings and Raven Gairloch (3 votes) The Swingers Party by T. Wow! Over 10% of people who bought the Black Project have voted for it as book of the year. Makes me regret not picking up a copy.
