I had the strangest experience on the magic Café recently...I reviewed a product that I purchased from Lybrary.com called the S&S Method. It happens to be a creation of Mike Kempner. With a short period of time after posting my review, a bunch of people come on the thread accusing me of being Mike Kempner. Supposedly, he has a very bad reputation and has done something horrible. Anybody have the inside scoop on who this guy is?

It doesn't matter because the effect is really just a copy of an old one you can buy for a couple of bucks.

Looking over reviews in the past, I've seen this happen a lot. Postings from individuals get replies accusing the poster of being the trick's originator, or some shill for the originator. Seen some threads go on for pages and pages about the person, the origination of the trick, etc. And the review gets lost....

It does matter, Slim. I am my own person and it bothers me when people associate me with someone who I am not.
