I've collected a number of great old P&L table base parts, but table tops is always a problem.
Has anyone purchased a Tricky Table Top, the one with (according to the ads) open-close wells in a plain black top rather than black art wells within a criss-cross pattern? Do the trap doors work reliably? Is there some sort of shelf or servante at the back, or can one be added? How heavy is the unit? Does it look deluxe, okay, or tacky? Durability? Thanks for the info. |

I had one and lost it moving. It's beautifully made and it's not tacky at all. The trap door works on a spring...closes automatically. A slide is built-into the well...vanished items slide to the back of the table!
Since I need another table myself...it's on my next buy list! Gerard |
