I got mine today in Black River Falls, Wisconsin...started to look at Volume 1 and couldn't stop. Three hours later... These are magnificent! I am so pleased with them and will be studying for years. Thank you for taking on this incredible task. They are truly a work of art from the heart!

Deluxe editions should go out by the end of the week. I have to tip all the signature pages in, which is quite a task. And it's made more complicated by the fact that I have a magazine to publish! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should go out by end of the week?!?!?! Richard, I got this PM from you on the 4th where you said it WILL ship at the end of that week and paid you for postage the same day you asked for it.
Inner circle Posted: Fri, Dec 4th, 2015 - 10:09 PM View Profile of Richard Kaufman Add a Reply Click to report this PM to Adminstration Newman, my emails to you keep bouncing back! Please send me $50 for the postage for your deluxe edition of the Tenyo book, which will ship out the end of next week. Pay via PayPal $50 to moobooks@verizon.net. Thanks! Richard You've now had my money for almost 2 years. What gives? |

Mr. Newman, unlike all the other people who ordered the deluxe edition and paid the full amount immediately, you had to pay in multiple installments over a long period, during which I had to email you repeatedly in order to get paid.
If you don't want your deluxe edition, I have 50 emails from people who would like to purchase it. If you don't have the patience to wait, then I will be very happy to refund your money in full. |

Richard,
It's not about the waiting. I'd wait another 2 years and I still want the book. My gripe is that you've had my money (and others) for 2 years and where you so desperately needed the $50 for shipping 2 weeks ago, I still have nothing. As far as me paying in multiple installments... I didn't see this as a problem considering that you DID accept my money, right? Nevermind the fact that you promptly followed up those emails with these "warnings / threats" (as you did just now) of sending my copy to the next person who wanted it if I didn't pay. All this after I graciously provided you with pictures of my Doug Henning Floating Lady for your book? I certainly understand this was a big undertaking, you've obviously worked incredibly hard on this and we are all appreciative. But I don't think I'm out of order in being a bit upset about the $550 I've paid (money which I could have used for, bills, Christmas, etc) to essentially "fund" this books production. Last I checked Kaufman & Co are a retail company and this wasn't a Kickstarter project. Please don't respond to this old crank. Spend your time putting the signature pages in Thanks, Mr. Newman |

Mr Newman:
With all due respect, Richard in my mind been uber clear here and on the Genii forum as to the expected timelines on delivery and provided numerous updates on delays when necessary. I am awaiting a deluxe edition as well but feel I have been well informed of progress here and I also know that if for any reason Richard would refund my money. Not sure what else I can expect from him. |

I've been pretty lucking in threading the needle so far in managing to get Genii, and its digital issue, out every month on time while also finishing up all the hanging threads on the Tenyo book. But this week is going to be very tough.

Good luck Richard on finishing it up... if you can get them out for Christmas that would be awesome and if not then it's not the end of the world... lets keep things in perspective right?

Teevtee, are you in the US? You'll definitely have it before Christmas as we're trying like hell to get them out the door (or out of my garage!) by Friday.

I know how excellent this book will be.
If it's after the holidays, that may be better actually. It's always kind of a gloomy time...the grey of January, a very long month...and look at this, a big heavy box, what on earth could it be? For me at least, put your usual excellent effort into this labor of love Richard. You know as well as anyone, this ain't makin' you a millionaire so shun the nay-sayers and deliver the product you want us to see. I wouldn't mind finding a present behind the couch a week or two after the tree is down.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
