AND, Marc's boxes are second to none. He's a master at the switch box!

I own some Slates from Marc, so he will be the first place to go to for the Switch Boxes.

I also found Paul Praters Bottle, but I am not looking for a lota I am looking for a haunted bottle like this:

I know there is plastik versions of this everywhere, but I am looking for a nice one made of wood, brass or something other
of quality. I do own a plastik version and it does play a role in my Kids presentation together with GYRE. The Plastik rather destroys
the whole mood. So I am on the look out for a better Prop. Vikings Bottle would be alright, but its hard to get.

ECSS II registration is my best purchase of the year. I learned so much that weekend. I cannot imagine a more concentrated dose of bizarre magic.

ummm, this thread is for what you predict your best purchase of 2016 will be. . .

Oh... Then in that case, I predict it will either be something Paul Prater creates (his props are really authentic, and his scripting is downright believable to the layman!) OR a book from Prof BC, most likely his Alice Dopp or Triptych, as I previously posted.

Yes, I predict that ECSS II registration will have been my best Bizarre purchase of 2016 even though I did get some books and stuff while I was there.

I can't say much at the moment. but I've been working with Alakazam magic on bringing a complete series of horror effects to the community. There is going to be more news on the first of the effects in the coming couple of weeks but I'm really excited to share it with you all.

Peter announced the name of the new effect on this weeks Alakazam Video Blog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPRSdKCfqrU

"The Deceased" if the first of the "Dark Series" and I honestly cannot wait for you all to see it!

Considering I plan to buy very little this year I think I can say my slates will be the best purchase.

I am looking forward to what you have to offer with Alakazam Jamie. I love Alakazam's discerning product selection, and I love your plots and effects. So, for me, I'm ready.

Thank you guys!

I'm pleased that I can now reveal some more info and the trailer. All is revealed in the Blog: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qxlwprm-mp0

Jamie, I literally had goosebumps watching the trailer and the reveals. You've done it again. Outstanding work.

Without having this, I can't comment on the workings, but the plot and overall effect(s) seemingly offer so many opportunities in story-telling, and the props - supplied with room for some customization - offer the performer the opportunity to personalize the routine.

Looks so good. And so "bad."

Aww thank you guys! I means so much that the bizarre community enjoys these effects! The support has been amazing and alakazam have done an amazing job of bringing this to market! Smile

Method wise, it's incredibly simple but works incredibly well and the added bonus of them never letting go of their selection is so fooling. Lots of questions about method and hopefully this will answer some! Everything used is examinable meaning there are no extra photos, nothing added or taken away, no gimmicks and no sticky stuff. It's wonderfully organic and I think its organicness (Not a word) that aids with the story telling. Just 10 photos and one envelope. The spectator really will say they never let their photo go and once they have placed their selection into their stack, the magician doesn't go near it. Once again, the method is so simple, it really means presentation gets to prosper!

If anyone has any other questions, please feel free to Facebook, email or pm me as I'm always around to help out where needed! Smile

I've also set up a snazzy page on my site which shows the photos even more eerily! http://jamiedaws.co.uk/jamiedaws/thedeceased.html

Thank you again for the support guys, it means the absolute world! Smile

I wasn't going to buy anything anytime soon but I couldn't resist. Having few of Jamie's "items" I felt the need of having this one too. Very excited now and can't wait!
