Greetings,
Finally decided to join. Have been playing with magic as an adult for the last couple years. Mostly cards but starting to become fascinated with mentalism too. Expert, Royal Road, Jay Sankey and Asad at 52Kards are my current teachers. I love magic because it reminds me in my everyday life there is always something to marvel and wonder at. Also I love the order and elegance that is the faro shuffle. Cheers, MillerTime

Welcome MillerTime,
I had a Faro phase myself, very satisfying. Watch out for "Miller Time" though, the odds go way down on the Faro after that. -Mary Mowder |

Yes. And quickly. The handle is a play on my last name. I can't stand the beer.
Have a favorite faro trick you would like to share?

No, I never got past going around in cycles back to new deck order and seeing if I could get my one handed shuffles to do a true faro (I did but not reliably).
I decided that there are lots of great tricks that did not require a faro. I never really got to where I could do it with out drawing undue attention to the attention I was paying to get it, which is a giveaway of the method. Still had fun though. -Mary |
