Often people talk on here on 3-4 tricks only. A catch phrase often used is make them stop, make them stay and make them pay.
Which as a newbie what I want to work to. KISS Watched a performer today who must have done about 20 tricks, some juggling, balloon swallowing, break dancing and interacting with a child on stage. All with music roaring in the back ground. He had a big crowd at one point but it did reduce near his finale - and the hat appeared to suffer. It was too much, too quickly. He definitely needed to slow down, and perhaps specialise in one discipline. Plus very hard to hear him with the music blaring in the background- so a lost a lot of opportunity to connect with audience. It was like he was performing to music and at the same time talk through parts of his act. He had no microphone/amp set up. On the plus side - his method of building an initial edge. Just via slowly setting up with the music ROARING in the background did seem very effective. Kudos to him for getting out there. 😀 |

This sounds like Todd Various? Any chance he was in the US?

No. Not from America. This guy looks like he is still developing his act.
This guy had a LOAD of props in his suitcase. From multiplying bottles, rose productions, multiplying canes, etc. Virtually the only prop he didn't have was cards. Good to see something different. As he refines his act, he will do well. |
