Cameron, You are 100% right. I feel the same way. No one ever looks effects up. Its all about the performance. entertain them and you'll drive them crazy.

"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

I love complicated tricks, I have learned that when I preform complicated tricks they do not always get the best reactions even though the method may be ingenious. Toibox is a fairly simple trick and yet it gets the best reactions out of anything in my repertoire.

I can only agree with many others - this is a fantastic routine with a perfect „Flow“ . Every step makes perfect sense. It is fun for the spectator but also for the Performer In my opinion it is an outstanding piece of close Up Magic. One of my favorites for sure.
Use it together with „Perfect Score“ or „The Bullet“ and it will be dream to perform..... |

I’ve been wanting to end a specific routine with a ring-to-box finish... after reading all of this incredible praise and reviews of toibox I’m really gravitating towards this utility- but my big question is whether this can also work as a ring box?
The ad mentions other items, so I’m curious what objects (esp. rings) have some of you loaded successfully with this?

I don’t think this is intended to be used with a ring. Billets and other folded paper

Actually... thinking out loud.. you could stick the coin in a soft foam shaped by the dimensions of the mint box you are using and load that. That would eliminate the sound and when revealed would make a nice appearance of a "ringbox". |

Loading a signed card or borrowed object into an altoids box is actually not the “method” of this trick. Creativity could always be used, in fact you could probably come up with a method on your own. It is my opinion that for what you want you will be disappointed with this trick although it is a great “showing” that a signed card is in the tin.
