At one time I tried white shoe polish on an old set of Ireland's golf balls(3). Results were not good. When the shoe polish dried the surface cracked all over...

That's GREAT, David! Are all the links you've shared for the same product? (I want to be sure to order the right one.)

The Callaway balls fit the Ireland sh _ _ l , but would need to be painted white. The better golf balls to get are these generic White practice golf balls - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0728H3FLW?psc......_details That's the link I posted on Feb 10, 2022. These white balls fit the Ireland sh _ _ l and do not require any painting. (they come in other colors, too , if interested in doing color changes ... or if you wanted to use colored golf balls you could always paint the sh _ _ ls to match , but I prefer the classic white balls. Just be sure to select the color option White when you order.) Click here to view attached image. |

Got the "practice golf balls". They are perfect. Thanks, David!
(I discovered we still have 3 Ireland metal shells. These must be antiques now. ) Julie |

David Todd -
On the Amazon.fr I see this brand (Dsmile) only in the yellow colour, but this is not bad. https://www.amazon.fr/Dsmile-Practise-Ba......1ZCVJ39/ Another brand has white and other colours - https://www.amazon.fr/VUXYMCY-%C3%A9last......C7ML9FV/ I am more concerned to locate the "turtle" as someone has put it on another thread. I am hopeful that someone could use a 3D printing technique to make it (?) I think I will speak to Prop Dog in the U.K. , because they might do it. |

Viking magic has a new set of golf balls that are suitable for the Golf Ball Through Handkerchief , plus of course the multiplying golf balls routine.

I spoke with Viking Magic and as David wrote, their new golf balls will work fine with the Golf Ball Through Handkerchief. I ordered a set and will add a post once I've had a chance to try them out. I've loved this trick since seeing on Dick Oslund's wonderful DVD.

Received the multiplying balls set from Viking Magic. The "golf balls" themselves are softer material. The gimmicks (comes with two) are very well made - Viking told me they're metal. Best of all, this product makes the ball through silk a breeze.
