Hi all,
As many of you I got into magic as a child. I went back to it in my early 20's and then now in my 40's I am enjoying it more than ever. Around the age of 20 I got pretty serious into card mechanics after being introduced to Darwin Ortiz's material including The Annotated Erdnase. I spent many years on that type of material and developed some skill by playing in real games. (even many with guns laying on the table during play. That sure keeps you on point!) I later gave up the unethical practice (although I was doing it for practice purposes, not money). That was almost 20 years ago and now I enjoy all aspects of card and coin magic. It's always great creating illusions for others to see. Nice to meet all of you. Adam aka NomadMagic |

Welcome NomadMagic,
I'm glad you have reformed. Your excuse would not have gone far if caught. -Mary Mowder |

Thanks! I know, right. A little bit of pressure to perform well! It was a couple of years in my 20's. I since then of course developed some ethics that keep me from practicing that way It was definitely a learning experience that gives you knowledge only available at the table. Although it was only for practice it was quite deceiving and of course dangerous. Thanks again for the welcome.
