Hey all... Recently got a thumb tip (Vernet junior) and wondering what size silk would fit in it?

Vernet King size takes a 9" easily. The smaller Junior might take a 6" - but if you've ever watched Finn Jon's "Ice Ball" routine the Junior is simply perfect!!

A thumb tip streamer is also an option.

Thanks Stu... I'll try a 6". I'm not able to find a video of the ice ball routine. Is there one online somewhere?

A diamond cut 9" will look like a 12" square but fit in the space of a 6" square.
REMEMBER: All silks are imported and sold by the measurement of the hemmed edge, and NEVER diagonal measure. Know your vendor! Bob DoveLite Silk PS --- Most of us have no problem getting a 12" diamond cut silk into an adult thumb tip. It takes the space if a 9" square and looks like an 18" square. |
