I've looked all over for reviews on this. Anyone have any links or own the video?
Thanks. |

Here is the text of the review that I wrote for our shop's monthly newsletter:
************************* Michael Ammar's Easy to Master Business Card Miracles The newest addition to Michael Ammar's "Easy to Master" series is a wonderful collection of magical methods to present one's business card. This instructional video is appropriate for two very different audiences. The first, and most obvious, group of people with interest in this video will be magicians. A sure way to enhance and punctuate the magic that you may have already presented is to conclude with a mysterious and magical effect with your business card. It will fuel the recipient’s imagination as they wonder, "What other magic can this entertainer create?" This is such a strong experience that even when presented later with any business card, their mind will recall. Your magical production: This DVD may well appeal to a second group of people who are not magicians at all but present and exchange a fair number of business cards, perhaps in a corporate environment. All of the effects explained in this volume require either no sleight of hand or very, very little. The little work involved in preparing the self-working effects or perfecting the few sleights will pay large dividends by making your meetings extremely memorable. The only downside is that the recipients will expect more magic the next time you meet! Twelve effects with business cards are well presented, clearly explained, and beautifully filmed. Magicians will find many of the handlings comfortable and familiar, as most of them tend to be adaptations of card magic effects. These effects play just as strong when using business cards. Some of the effects demonstrated are "self printing" business cards that go from blank to printed right before the spectator's eyes and animated business cards that literally hand themselves out from your stack of cards! Very visual and very memorable! An included bonus with this DVD is a Himber style business card case that will allow, for example, the performer to first open the case and show business cards torn in little pieces. The case is then closed and accented with a magic gesture or flourish. Immediately, the case is opened again and all of the cards are in perfect condition and ready to be presented. Business, magic or not, relies on relationships formed by contact, conversations, meetings, and working with customers. The effects presented here can really help in this business relationship development process. Sometimes the littlest things can make all the difference! |

ETMBM will be very benificial especially to those who are new in magic. It teaches you how apply some "special deck" technique into a stack of business cards and you'll get a free Z wallet too (pretty sad I've spoil it). The trick that I like most is the Torn & Restore Business Card, very easy yet very deceptive and the effect is fantastic.

I must say I hated this DVD.
I don't even think it wasn made for magicians, more like for people who want to give a buisness card in a magical way. |

I believe this video is not really aimed at the pre-teen and teenager age group. Most people in this age group would not work with business cards typically. This is a collection of "flourishes" and effects for business cards. If you are in a job where you need to give out a lot of business cards and need to be remembered, then there are some ideas in here.
If you do not typically hand out business cards at all then you will be disappointed. It is really not aimed at magicians per se. Bruce |
