I have the Rifco 6-foot balloons. Normally, you just hold the nozzle as you climb in and out.
But for this occasion, I actually need to tie off (or otherwise secure) the nozzle.
I will not need to re-open this to get into the balloon or re-use it.

Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions that might help?

I don't think a typical square not is going to cut it. Smile

I haven't done it, but maybe you could use a zip tie thing to do it. Or if you twist the nozzle some, then use a 350 to wrap around several times and tie off. Depending on what you plan to do with it, you could use a clamp. I'm not sure what it's called, but the clamp that is an industrial version of a clothes pin or chip clip.

For the climb-in, we usually cut the nozzle off. Either of these would probably work better if you left the nozzle on.

Wound up twisting the nozzle several times, then bending it over and securing with a hefty rubber band. And I was able to get the rubber bands off and rescue two of the balloons for re-use.

Thanks for the tips.
