I really like the look of this. Does any one know if any card can be selected or only a certain one or two?

Is it thinking like a magician to wonder why the envelopes are needed? Will the spec wonder as well?

Looking at the method you could make it appear as if the cards have been selected for sure. This is a clever idea, the envelopes make it appear really random and the effect will leave people baffled.

Just strikes me, thinking on this one , that the demo shows the 1 in 5 time that the spectator can examine the card.
Could be wrong but I have a suspicion that 4 out of 5 times it isn't quite as clean as the demo. |

Nice trick but as Peter said very simple wouldn't pay £25 for it

Hopefully Peter can shed some light on whether or not what was shown in the demo was the best case scenario or if that is exactly how the routine will go every time?

Good presentation but again would like to know if this was the best case scenario.

Yes, there are two possibilities. The one shown in the video happens 20% of the time, and the other possibility happens 80% of the time. But the difference in presentation is so tiny, and you must admit, would not affect the trick in spectator's eyes one bit.
This is coming from the guy who really hates deceptive demo videos (yes, I'm talking to you Steam 2.0). But I find no issue at all with this video. Regardless of which possibility occurs, it's the exact same trick. |

Agree its minor- its what separates the effect from a magician fooler or not, but still should play just as strong to lay audiences.

Could this be used for any kind of prediction such as 5 business cards or 5 pieces of paper with something different written on them?

Unbelievable!! This is ripped straight out of Corinda! The most basic research could and should have been done before this guy released this. I would say at the very least, I hope he credited Corinda... but I have my doubts.

Prediction Impossible by Jay Sankey is the same effect only using ESP symbols.

From reading Corinda just now it does look like the same effect, even the way peter puts the 4 underneath the packet to flash the blue back. The only tiny difference is the the way the envelopes are handled but aside from that its 95% Corinda. Not worth £25 imho
