Where are some good places to get an affordable pouch, or plans to make your own out of leather and such?

If you want really cheap, try a waiter's apron. you may need to remove the seems that separate the pockets. It is limited, but depending on your needs it could work, and for just a few bucks.

You are not going to fit a melon in it.

If you don't need one that's too big, you can convert a woman's hand bag for just a few bucks. Look in second hand shops for a suitable one.

I've used a waiter's apron, but, I prefer the type of apron usually worn by carnies who are agents in the "game" joints. They're the same as a waiter's, but, a bit larger. Mine will hold a set of 3 8" rings, plus a few other small props, like rope, sponge balls, etc.

Jakeg's idea also sounds good! Thrift shops (and yard sales) are great places to find things like gibecieres! (sp?)

Pirouz's suggestion is good. Home depot has a variety of very durable pouches.

We always try to have models that are affordable, durable, good looking and guaranteed to last.
however, I think it's great to try to make your own.

maybe one day we'll offer a kit where you buy the parts and you can put it together yourself.

Don't get a cheap pouch, get a great one from The Ambitious Card

...or, do a cup routine where you can work out of your pockets.

I have a number of different pouches from Ambitious Card.
I use them a lot, the side pouch most often, and all work great and hold up very well.
They look like they did the day I bought them.
