Many magicians collect things associated with magic, whether sets of cups, books, wands, tokens, decks of cards, business cards, photos, autographs, posters, or what have you.

I have a somewhat unusual collection of records associated with magic, and was wondering if anyone else does too. Some actually teach magic tricks, some are stories about magic, some are music based on magic, etc. Here is a list of what I have:

* Zingone - recorded card tricks - 3 record set - 78 rpm
* Magic Circle – 2 sets
* Magic Land of Alakazam (Mark Wilson) 78 rpm
* Magic Party – Sanford the Great
* Party Magic – Blackstone Sr
* Abracadabra is my Game – Duke Stern (2 sets, 1 autographed)
* The Magic Show – original Broadway cast soundtrack – 2 with
hexaflexagon, one sealed and mint
* The Magic Album – Martin Lewis
* You Can Be a Magician – Bruce Elliott
* Music for Magicians – Milt Larsen
* Houdini, Man of Magic - stage play
* Mandrake – original radio broadcast
* Ringling Brothers – Circus Music
* Fred Flintstone - record and book 45 rpm
* Harry Houdini – Kon Kan – not magic, but a nice album cover

I have ONE magic act on a record! It's MY show, when I was 16 (1947).

I was playing a Mother's Day Party at a local fraternal lodge. A man on the committee had just bought a machine that would make records (78 rpm). He offered to record my show, and, gave me the record afterwards.

I listened to it once, at home, and put it carefully away. If I ever start to think that I was a prodigy, I'll get it out and play it (privately!).

Maybe you should sell tickets for your record Dick! I think a lot of people, including Michael and I, would buy a ticket to hear you as a 16-year old!
