BTW, for people who are wondering what happened to the Dopps I won, I gave it to fellow Brit Mark Dilliway, he lost all of his luggage on the way over so I figured he needed some good luck!

Talking with this year's winner (Paul Prater) we have decided that if you win the Screaming Goat, the next year you will sit on the panel of judgments and in all fairness let someone else have a shot that year, we also will have an official time keeper ( we were a bit lax on that being a first and all)

The winner should also be made to sit on their winning acts prop.

I just wanted to say I had the best time at ECSS III! Even though I had become terribly ill! I understand several others had acquired something of a virus as well. I initially came down with horrible allergies as my sensibilities are accustomed to the muggy and cold Mid-Atlantic. Even 2 weeks later I am still recovering! This has put me behind on multiple projects. I am starting to feel as if I have offended some Trickster God or being of fairy origin.

Nevertheless, I am moving forward. I am currently working on a new pirate-themed show for the Marriott Hotel nearby and must complete it today. Then, I have to finish the HH Holmes script. When completed the Holmes script will be made available for free to all attendees of the ECSS III event (and a few who could not make it).

Shortly thereafter I will be working on the Murder Mystery Weekend events. I am also busy preparing for Doomsday in Whitby and am very excited about that!

Busy, busy.

I wanted to chime in. I had caught the bug as well, and when I arrived home, I found out that it was the flu. I am on the tail end of the recovery and will probably be totally cured by next week. Still, I do not regret going to ECSS and plan on returning for ECSS IV. The seminars and shows (including the screaming goat competition that I was part of) were first-rate and I enjoyed talking to everyone attending there.
The preparation that was done before the events showed the massive amount of planning that was put in and made all of the events welcoming ones.

I hope that everyone who attended had the same enjoyment and experienced the best that an "unconventional" convention could offer.

I'll just remember to get a flu shot next year....
