Someone here asked for a table with a replaceable surface except.... in purple!
So here's a pic. I like it!

That is nice. Bet will offer some great contrast with any deck of cards or C&Bs.
Beautiful work as always...

Beautifully finished table top. Interesting set of legs. Not the kind I'd want to use. Any body like to comment on pros and cons of the leg design?
The presentation makes the magic.

I think the legs are great, actually.
They are not extended for maximize stability in the photo. Lighter weight and easier to carry than a restaurant tray stand or keyboard stand. But I welcome your comments.

Nice!
I have a sort of close up stage made by a friend. The material is purple and it shows up coins, cards and cups very well indeed.

I know the leg design might be a little difficult on some slanty streets. In New Orleans, if you aren't in the Square or in the center of a street, you are on a one the sloping sides of the street. Tripod stands seem to work better for me out here.

Regarding MVoss' comment on mounting a tripod to the table - I use a combination of two tripods. The table mount comes from a camera tripod so it is easy to put on and take off. The wooden legs come from an old telescope tripod. It took a bit of work to mate the two parts together but it works well for me since my table top is relatively small. I also like how compact it is when folded up.

There are couple ways of mounting tripods. Go Pro DVD has something about mounting a photo tripod to a table top. There are Eureeka stands (I hate these), there are music stands, there are mic stands. Most everything you can get a flange for and attach with the exception of the photo tripod, that would require a bolt to the table.
