I'm guessing that this is certainly no harder than intermediate / or easier.

Mostly presentation and managing that a small bank of cards aren't called out (royals).

This feels like it might be a trick of the year contender.

He is a Class act what a Pro ! the only bit I noticed is deal to the number of the card your thinking of . I guess this flies past the spectator you don't think they might say but I want to think of a picture card . I guess not he Fooled Penn & Teller ! Amazing card trick .

It says it lasts a lifetime, like a deck lifetime? I can't picture a deck of cards lasting a lifetime

Anybody watched Joshua Jays Unreal from Essential magic collection? On one of the discs Blind Man's Bluff is included, I suppose he teaches the routine.

The routine is on DVD 3 of Unreal.
I think (I am sure) when you make it yourself, it will cost you (at least) as much as the price asked for the ready made trick.

However, I want to give a little warning.
The way it is presented bu Joshua (= with a blindfold) will be not so logical if you have to wear reading glasses. Or you have to keep your reading glasses under the blindfold which is a little weird in my opinion. The way to go for people who need reading glasses - and you need them to do the trick - is to do it without a blindfold and just turning your head.

That's the only (minor) flaw that I see in this otherwise fantastic trick that is much stronger than his earlier version.

Yes, Unreal is a great set, highly recommended, not only for Blind Mans but so much other great material.

The presentation of this is the same as a trick that Josh had on a DVD I've got. The detection of the right card looks like it's done the same way. But in that version, you didn't end up with the card: you just said it out loud. This is a huge improvement Can't wait to get it.

I agree and note that the fabulous get sharky decks stopped being sold because they also took literally an hour to make by hand.

$50 seems extremely reasonable for that kind of hand work.

You mention these cards are roughed, but in the demo clips the cards at the end are examinable - i.e. Joshua hands clumps out and asks the spectators to look at them. Can someone confirm that the deck is examinable at the end, per the ending of the two clips earlier in the thread?
