You have your stacked deck in the card box, maybe in specators hand, and you say to them "name any card"

I experienced that it is quite often that spectator names a card that is very top or bottom of your stacked deck,

Is there any trick that can make advantage of this situation? A trick that is more stronger if they name a card that is very top or bottom rather than a card that is somewhere in the middle.

What could possibly be stronger than instructing them to take out the cards in the right orientation and seeing their card already there? If it's on the bottom, have them pull out the cards face up, and if it's on top, have them pull them out, remind them they just named a card, etc. and have them turn over the top card. Drop the mic, box the cards, and walk away - you've just performed the ultimate miracle in a layperson's mind. Just my 2 cents... ymmv. Smile

^THIS^

Nothing stronger can be done than when lady luck shines for you so brightly as in that scenario.

Palm it and produce it from your pocket or the card case?

Theoretically maybe a miracle. But it's not that easy to sell this as it might seem. The performer won't be able to start building it up until after your spectator names the top card. You can't say: " I have a deck of cards, I'm not going to touch them at all, you're going to name a card and it will be the top card".

Spectators realize intuitively that a 1 in 26 (top or bottom) coincidence is not the ultimate miracle

Somewhat related, read Pop Haydn's thinking on the Chicago Opener.

No. Please, no. You need to use smoke in this situation. For example, if the cards are not in the box (but in your hands), and the spectator names the top card, you wouldn't just turn over the top card and expect someone to be impressed. Demonstrate that the card is neither on the top nor the bottom. Only then make it magically rise to the top. That's the minimum amount of smoke you can get away with in this situation. More is better.

This is the right way to think. Smoke it up. Vanish their card from the deck, demonstrate that it isn't in the deck. (Go through all the cards... It isn't there!) Then find it in your wallet. That'll work just fine.

Smoke it up a small bit - but I find that when that happens just saying focus on your card, with a bit of puff, and then it being on top is mind blowing and actually as powerful as it can be.....
Otherwise it's surely another Card to Location? The fact that it's 26-1, even if the audience has the chance to work that out, is still seriously impressive.
