I would also add in Dave Madden or Partridge Family fame, who came with his posse and I sat behind many times.

Over on the Abbott's Magic Family page on Facebook, several people have shared photos from the 1940's and 1950's Abbott's Get-Together. The thing that really strikes me is how well they dressed, most of them in jackets and ties ... in AUGUST , without modern air conditioning. Yet they still had enough self-respect and respect for the public image of the craft of magic that they dressed up for it. I'm not talking about only the performers when they were appearing on stage, but most of the attendees. Ok,so maybe those jackets and ties got taken off later when there wasn't a photographer present with a camera (?), but at least while presenting themselves for the photographers to record the event for posterity they looked sharp.
