So a week goes by and a woman to whom I played a traditional "Red Hot Momma" to asks:

"Did it changing color have to do with my body temperature when I picked the card?"

At the pet shop you can get a stick-on thermometer for about $2 that you might consider adding. It is really for fish, but…

I have gotten the body temperature comment before. Never fails to crack me up.

As a use Red Hot Mama in my Restaurant act and I don't actually get the temperature comment that often but if I do get that comment as with necromance said I just leave then guessing and go on to the next effect.

I tell them the card got embarrased and went red

Heheheh...I have seen that "blushing" comment used before when a black ace got turned into a red ace. Very amusing.
