For anyone interested in this topic, I recently interviewed Bob Loomis. He spent 20 years researching how Houdini stumped Conan Doyle that night, and sent Doyle away believing supernatural powers were at play. Bob's interview link is below (intended for a lay audience but interesting for magicians too.) Hope you enjoy it and drop me a comment on the blog to say what you think.
