Ok, here is the deal:
Sanada Gimick - Basic Gimick Cloaking Device - Has a "loading space" that can hold a load in your pocket, so you can just reach in and get it as one unit. the loading space is pretty hard to get things in it, and only really big enough for like a mouth coil, streamer or a sponge ball... I don't think you could fit multiple sponge balls in there. FS2 - Hinged Gimick, so supposedly twice the carrying space, and theoretically should allow you to keep a load in it while in the pocket too. This version is good because you can seperate differnt loads, for color changing sponge or a sponge to streamer type effect. I'm waiting on my FS2 to come in the mail, hehe I'll put more uses up when I can. |

You might be able to get 2 sponge balls into the cloaking device if they are small, say 1 inch supersoft. You can get 3, maybe 4 1 inch balls into the FS/2. The FS/2 is a more versatile gimmick, because it is better suited for switching things. It basically gives you two compartments.
They really serve different purposes. Jay Scott Berry tends to use lots of them. But he can afford it, because he essentially manufactures them.

Are you sure you want the Sanada Gimick bill switch?
I personally like the TT better and if that's all your looking for, check out the TT bill switch handlings. Really, the difference is only a few dollars, I wouldn't "settle" for something you didn't want for a matter of 4 or 5 dollars. I havent seen the DVD, but if you havent worked with a Sanada before, it always helps to see someone who is good using it correctly. Oh, and btw, If you were wondering about using these gimicks in the middle of a show... The cloaking device will keep things with it in the pocket, but loading has to be done from the pocket unless you make yourself some sort of holder gimick. However, the FS2 comes with a dropper that can be pinned to your jacket or other clothing, allowing you to steal it anytime during a routine, something that I really like. |
