I did my first ever performance for kids this past month - for an audience of 25 people (kids and some adults). I never really was interested in performing for children but I think this went well enough that I would do it again. I am not quitting my day job but it is nice to make kids smile. Credits to the routines: the first piece is essentially Joshua Jay's presentation for Triad Coins (I used the TUC gimmick); the second piece is Chris Capehart's teaching of Miser's Dream. I recommend both.

Always enjoy watching your work, really admire the confidence on stage. Of course as you know there are a lot of instructions to be simplified for the miner's dream, and that just comes with the comfort of it. Get the kids to throw it up and tell them to stop and it keeps coming, you know. Great work anyways, keep it coming.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree that adding one more phase to Miser's Dream would be good. Since this was my first time performing it, I decided to make it short and sweet (less likely to mess up) but next time, I will try the phase of the kids throwing coins in the bucket. Thanks again for the input.
