I believe most magic societies and clubs have libraries for the benefit of their members.
Do clubs generally seek the permission of the respective authors and publishers before making their work available for free? |

I've been told so, yes. But I'm not 100% sure. It might be best to join us on the mirror thread under Right/Wrong.

And why did you post two separate threads on the same topic. They should be merged. |

I posted this one first, and then as noted in my second post had the better idea it should be listed under a different heading. Yes they should be merged; it wasn't intentional.
