Hi Dan, glad these are selling well for you as the workmanship is second-to-none! I know how hard you guys have been working on these (pretty much round the clock) especially considering being a man down and all the various issues outside your control that you had to face at the same time!
You can really see your blood, sweat and tears in the final outstanding product! You should be very proud of these! Well done mate! Craig |

Finally right Gimpy? These things are more challenging than you might think to build. The precision and tolerances we need to achieve run under 1mm in order to make them work and carve perfectly so we have to take our time to do them right. We are working on our third round of orders now, and I want to thank you all very much for your kind words and support for these. We very much want to continue in this vein of products and knowing that people enjoy and appreciate them really make the many long hours worth it.

Oh I think I have a pretty good idea of the challenge building something like this is. Spent my share of time going thru stacks of parts with digital calipers and tossing hours of work in the trash. Just no way of getting around a strict level of quality control to make something this nice. Well good luck on the third run and don't work your self silly.

Haha so you do get it! I have to tell you it is hard to achieve a 1/32 inch tolerance on a table saw but any variance greater than that and the whole thing goes in the circular file. I think 1 in every 3 sticks has to be discarded. We carve them after the sticks are constructed and it's a bummer to get them at the way to that stage before they fail I have to tell you lol. The joys in working with wood. Still when it works they are beautiful. It's hard to beat real hardwood for beauty.

And that is why you are on your third batch so quickly and working around the clock! Wood is imperfect but cannot be matched for beauty! 1 out of 3 failing? I remember you talking about the prototypes and the first batch! All your efforts are paying off! I just hope you get a much needed break soon! Not that you will as it will be straight onto the next project knowing you guys!

Hi all we just shipped off the fourth batch of sticks to Murphys, and we are going to take a break from them for an indefinate period. We have some other ideas that have been on the back burner for a quite a while while that we want to get started on.
If you have been waiting to order now would probably be a good time. I just don't know when we will get back to these again. Thank you all so much for your support in making these so successful. It's gratifying to know our fellow performers like our work. Dan
