I found an explanation of the game called Faro which supposedly is the origin of the faro shuffle:

I guess dealing effects could be created around the game, but they would require a lot of explanation to the audience. I'm sure someone can come up with one Smile

The story of the table is more interesting! It can be adapted to any dealing routine, from blackjack or poker... a hunted table, I guess Smile
