Does anyone remember a trick where a magnet was taped/glued on a dollar bill covered with an extra piece of bill. It might have been used with a chop cup routine.
Thanks Steve

I do remember a Chop Cup routine that came with magnetic bills, maybe 20 years ago. Nothing more in my memory bank. You might check the magic magazines, as it was advertised. I just cannot picture what was used for the Chop Cup.

Wasn't there a ZANADU Matrix-type routine utilizing bills with a hidden magnet?

I remember one that was a magnetic Matrix with pointed star like coins.
It was quite a while ago though. -Mary Mowder |

That was the one Zanadu put out. I don't recall the name but I almost want to say it went by different names each time it was released. I could be wrong but maybe it was released by different people.

It was called Static Cling by Zanadu. Great idea to make the "Matrix" type effect cleaner or easier.

Thanks. I don't know why I thought about it, but it was good.

Yes, static cling is the version I had. I ever did it though.

Possibly "Chop" by Craig Petty? It used exactly what you posted along with a gimmicked Sharpie and a paper cup.

The 'mad cup' was also a chop cup/ die stacking cup that came with a magnetic piece to attach to a dollar. I have no idea how long ago that was.

There is Die-Namic by Martin Lewis, which is an awesome penetration trick.
