Hello, I'm wondering if a method already exist for getting a duplicate playing card inside of an egg. yoke and all still inside of the egg with the playing card? or a ripped piece of a playing card inside? any leads or ideas would be great and much appreciated.

There is the venerable Card In Egg Wand. I'm not sure these are made any longer. You might check the auctions and/or resale sites.

Jay Sankey has a method for Card in Egg on his Paperclipped Special Edition DVD. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but it could be a starting point.

You could crack the egg open very carefully and pour the yoke in a bowl then place the card in and put the yoke back in, if all of the egg cant go in its ok people wont notice, then very carefully put it back together and glue and wash any excess off along the shell. It's a messy process but it works.

There actually was a method published by asian magician if I am not mistaken where it was possible to open real egg enough to put something small like bill or piece of a card inside and then seal it back to look like unopened. Sadly cant remember who it was or what the routine name was. It was dealer item on DVD though. Whit Haydn also has some nice work on this that is far simpler.

I put a signed bill in egg in my Teleportation Device routine. The same method would work well with a card or corner of a card. The method is from Wilfred Johnson's "Magic Tricks and Card Tricks."

"HATCHING" by NEFESCH produced by Titanas.
Signed coin to egg but may be worth looking at.
It's on Penguin Magic's site (out of stock)
I have the book if interested.

So, of course I like the method for this. But what I really love is the script. It's classic Pop Haydn, and it's absolutely fantastic. Magicians should study it.

We do, we do! Pop is a graduate course unto himself. I am still going back to his materials on "Chicago Surprise"
