This photo from Greg's Facebook page caught my attention.
In the same way that a cartoon cat might see a farmyard hen as walking roast chicken I can't help look at this photo and see a huge pile of money! Good for him

Greg, thanks for the update. We've all been patient this far so not a big deal to wait a short time longer.
I know it's tempting but please don't get this close to the finish line and then hastily rush them out the door. Take the time needed to get those stickers put on just right and be able to pay attention to details, as well as give each a proper QC. |

I totally agree with On The Offbeat. I don't mind waiting a little longer to make sure everything meets your stsndards, Greg.

I cannot wait. When Mr. Wilson was here in Manila, I was one of the few who, sight unseen, ordered Rubicon after being told that it is a feat involving rubik's cubes (One of my favorite items for mentalism shows.) and was only further enticed instead of scared off by the not-negligible price tag, if only because this is Greg Wilson we're talking about here. Really looking forward to this, as I do believe a variation or something of the sort has recently been performed in America's Got Talent, or am I sorely mistaken?

I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to purchase this at the pre-sale price from a fellow Café member as I did not have the funds available at the time of the sale. I believe that this will be worth the price and the patience, especially considering the source, Gregory Wilson. I would like to think that Greg has been around long enough for me to earn trust in him and his product and this is why when it was offered to me my a member , I jumped at the deal. Once again I believe that those who have waited will be rewarded with a item that reflects the integrity of its creator. Thank you Greg for sharing this item with us.

Curious to see if this just shows up in our mailboxes one day or if we get any kind of heads up.
I guess it will depend on how quickly it gets delivered to the area that you're in. |

Interesting point video man.
Will find out soon enough I guess, as based off Greg's last message these will be ready to ship between tomorrow and this weekend. Time to start keeping an eye on that postal delivery truck!

Gentleman of Great Patience,
FINALLY, I'm starting to ship out Rubicon orders according to the purchase date of each customer. So the guys who ordered in 1984 are at the front of the line. : ) Some got sent yesterday, some will go out today and the remaining on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as they get assembled and packaged accordingly. Now that the manufacturing dust is settling, I can tell you that this was one harrowing experience since there were so many moving parts and I was beholden to the output promises of each supplier who either misspoke, miscalculated or flat out misinformed me of their respective delivery dates. Granted, the pre-purchasers got a healthy discount, but the process was so UN-FUN for many of us that I'll likely never use this marketing strategy again. In the future, I have a revolutionary idea -- I'll share a new idea when it's ready! : ) That said, I hope you find Rubicon worth the wait and get as much performance pleasure from it as I have over the last 10 or so years. I should also remind you that this little miracle can be done close-up, stand-up and surrounded. I perform it regularly at The Magic Castle (Close-Up, Parlour and Palace), on three TV specials (America, Korea and Finland) and the main stage at Blackpool with 3,500 magicians watching on the big screen. So I feel quite confident of its impact as a formal performance piece with a strong beginning, middle and end. It also doesn't hurt that Rubik's Cubes have never been more popular, especially with the help of Steven Brundage, who performed Rubicon on America's Got Talent. Please message me personally on Facebook or email to keep me apprised of your progress and experiences. Even share it here on The Café so I can appreciate and address the feedback -- positive or negative. Wrapping up, I have to thank each and every one of you pre-purchasers for your faith, patience and understanding! |

Steve did many Cube pieces on AGT, most with a regular cube but Rubicon was used in one of his routines

Maybe another discount for the people who missed the first run as I was only 7 in 1984 and would love to purchase one

Hello out there and Happy Sunday! It is at least a very happy Sunday for me and soon all the folks who ordered Rubicon. I live very close to Greg and today I met him at his warehouse which is a pretty impressive place to say the least! Greg showed me the ins and outs of how this beauty works and its pretty *** impressive! EASY to do and It is made with extreme quality! The gimmick will even fool you! Im not kidding here, we both lost track of the gimmick when it was in play as he was teaching me its workings. The Cube with the gimmick can be right under your very own nose and you can be fooled. Incredibly made with such an extreme tolerance. Did I mention its easy! I really cant solve a cube, greg showed me how the cube is solved during the first phase and I can do it now with no problem.... at 40 seconds...i am sure I can get under 10 seconds very soon with a little practice.
So Here is what you get! First lets discuse the packaging. Rubicon comes with a very well made box that looks amazing! The box holds your cubes in a "foam mold" so its kept safe. The box also has everything you need to perform Rubicon. You get backup stickers to replace used ones over time. A small tool to loosen the cube or tighten it based on your preference. You also receive a little black plastic razor blade to remove old stickers, everything was thought of with this packaged deal! The instructions/training will be available through streaming formate... I really wanted to post pictures of the metal business card which is laser cut with RUBICON and the website to watch the instructions. Small things like this make things huge in my opinion. I wrote briefly above about the stealthiness of the Gimmick. Without giving too much away I will be limited here. I am home now and I've closely looked at the Gimmick on the cube and off the cube... it is extremly well made. You will be happy and with this I can see many ways of performing a cube effect. There is room for creativity! I also got to see the mistakes Greg talked about from his last manufacture which held up its release.. I am thrilled Greg did not settle with those and pushed for what I have now! Well worth the wait! I am hard to impress as I do have a lot of items that have been sold to mentalist over the years, This is something Greg and his team have gone through a lot to make this release happen with a high quality product which will last for years! Go order yours now if you are on that fence!

Thank You for the review and update... Sounds quite awesome!
...And how much did you pay for yours, Justin?
How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.
