Here is a question for rubicon owners.

Can the final cube be customized? I have an existing setup I’d like to continue working with.

Also...

Can the spectator hand you the cube in phase one and you solve it?

Yes you can set it up to use whatever final pattern you want.

No, you cannot just take their cube and solve it. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? If you can give me a breakdown of what you want to do in your routine, I can let you know if it's possible or not and maybe even some ideas of how you could tweak it to make it work.

Have you watched the routine? Greg has the spectator mix a cube and then reveals that his cube matches and then solves the cube.
How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

Come to think of it, yes you can. They can mix it as much as they want, you can take it and go right into solving it. You'll have to learn how to actually solve a Rubik's Cube though lol

Rubicon arrived...

Sadly underwhelmed. I bought this to "clean up" a part of my act -- and sadly the method only made it far, far dirtier.

My existing methodology for doing this has been a part of my program for more than a decade and puts two perfectly duplicated cubes in the hands of the spectator at the end. It's ballsy - but it has served me well.

Lesson learned -- don't try implanting a "magic prop" into mentalism.

No disrespect intended to Gregory Wilson -- or anyone who happens to love this product. It's well made, and the instructions are clear -- it's just not nearly as clean as I'd like.
