Looks fantastic! Might have to pre-order this to save the $100.00!

Yes I know how you feel Bob, $100 smackers is a big savings....

Do you know how I'm going to feel when my wife finds out I am spending more money on magic!?!?

Ha! that's usually the case for me too. Interestingly, last night, when I showed the wifey she was like "you got to get this"!!!!

Though I have the permission, I'm still on the fence...it's a lot of ducats to drop down! And like many, still have so many questions that hopefully I can resolve before the 8/1 price hike!

HA, hopefully we will hear soon from the distributor.....Greg is a standup dude and do not think he would post something not true. He kept this under wraps for many years.....He may have the last laugh on all the speculation from others who are much more perceptive then I. Smile Smile

I could be wrong, but the cube face show at 2:32 (full video) never appears again and there (seems) to be a switch at around 2:38. What does that mean? No idea. Just something I noticed. I'm still leaning toward getting it but I want to be sure I can do it.

yes, agreed, am also leaning toward getting it. Just wanna make sure us mere mortals (i.e.-not superman Greg Wilson) can do it. And it still looks a lot like Collaboration Cube, IMO.

The jury still out but interest is growing. Spectator is allowed to mix the cube and Greg says in under 10 seconds you can solve the cube by not looking at it one handed. This is possible with another method mentioned (albeit some definite practice and work at least for me) but not with the spectator mixing first. Stay tuned!

Check this video out, notice the spectator is holding tight the cube that is mixed and ends up matching...Nice

I think this was released or was going to be released..... So Greg's method is definitely a good one but there are some out there that requires cube knowledge....

Normally I'd be against carrying around such a bulky item to a walk around/tablehopping gig.. but this just looks too good not to! I can definitely see this being a big reputation maker. Performing this alone would probably land you some gigs. If you're a worker then this will probably pay for itself in no time. If you do parlor, this is perfect closing material.

Now... to find a way to come up with the money before August 1st!

I wanted the cube to be computerized & it just solves by Itself & the rest is acting ! Not kidding here for the price tag oh well ! seems you have to know how to solve the cube .

This looks good. Almost too good. If it were $100 I'd take the shot but at that price I'll wait for a few reviews.

Guys why are potential methods being thrown around in this open thread!? Geeeeeeeeeez! If you like the look of it, like the sound of the conditions as listed by Greg, and have the cash, then get it! I can promise you won't be disappointed. If you would rather wait than spend that kind of money, then wait. Yes it is $100 more if you wait, but there is a reason it has been priced at what it is, but to see what some people are writing here is ridiculous. Either take it downstairs or email Greg yourself your concerns

Gentlemen,

I will answer all of your questions and concerns in the next day or two as I am completely bleary-eyed with four hours sleep in the last 48 hours. This is due to the incredible response of Rubicon as I've been processing orders and answering individual emails from all over the world. I am frankly blown away by the attention and amount of sales. Either $250 was the magic number/sweet spot or $100 off was the real convincer.

Check in soon.

I'm guessing it has been made private due to everyone watching in slow motion and guessing at methods.

The Latest & Greatest Section is an open area of the Café. If a thread is posted in this Section, it is understood that one is free to speculate until the product/effect has been finally released. And hence the creator needn't get perturbed on such speculations. We all know that a magician is a very inquisitive being. He wants to know/learn the secret of any effect that comes to his notice. He spends sleepless nights just to understand/find out all about the working of an effect. And if his curiosity isn't satisfied, he will go all out and readily spend a few hundred dollars just to know - HOW (?), irrespective of whether the effect is for him or not. This section also serves as a very effective media for pre-release publicity.

Hence I humbly request not to stop people from commenting/speculating on the effect/methods/etc. In case the intention of the creator was to guard against any speculation, then the topic shouldn't have been posted in this section. Rather, as you rightly said:-

BTW IMO, a DIYer can achieve the same effect easily by spending a meager sum of $30 & a little practice with no slights involved. But that's another story . . . so I leave it there . . . Smile

Thank you and continue please! Smile
