I tried searching the Café' but have not found what I was looking for. I am looking for an Inexpensive Remote to control the music on an I-Pad Mini (2) not the 4.
I have used I-Jet remotes in the past with very much success with my I-Pods.

What is a GOOD remote that is inexpensive to use with an I-Pad Mini 2?

The IJet is the ONLY RF Apple device remote.

Another company has a Bluetooth remote that is not recommended.

A step up would be the AudioApe system but that is in the several hundred dollars.

But they do have a financing plan. Split pay.

UPDATE:

Apparently Apple has (2) different lightening pin connectors. Yes there are actually two different models numbers and the one that works with the I-Jet Nav is
Model # MD823AM/A and I ordered that one and it works perfectly.

Note: The newest Apple products like the iPhone 6, iPhone 5, iPad Mini, iPods or iPad 4 needs Lightning-to-30-pin adapter to work with our products.The Lightning adapter has been tested and all functions of the iJet products will work. (Lightning adapter not Included). There are two versions of the lightning adapter so be sure to get the version made to work with docking stations Apple part number > MD823AM/A. Not the one just for charging and connection to iTunes MD823ZM/A.
