I'm Leonardo, a 31 y.o. magician from Brasil. I apologize for my bad english, since it's not my first language.

This is my first thread here, althought I've been reading this forum for, at least, 6 years. In general I've been found everything I needed in here. But this time I was not that succesfull.

About 6 years ago I was introduced to the ezine "The Learned Pig", and just in the first issue I read about a magic legend called "the Mysterious Watches". Now I'm am writing my first plot show and decided to include this story in my plot. I've made an huge search for it's origins, but all references are circular: they always apoint to the ezine.

So, does anyone in here knows something more about this legend? Where it comes from, who could be the magician, in which year it could be happened?
