My GPS deck arrived the other day and I love it. The deck is great quality and after about 5-10 min of playing around, I was able to locate the cards within just a couple of seconds (without spreading the deck). Tons of possibilities and applications. I liked it so much that I placed an order for the Amnesia deck a day later. Thanks for putting this out, Steve!

Upon further thought, the fact that this uses the Aronson is actually a plus for Mnemonica's users since they can use Aronson-specific effects without memorizing another stack. Or even combine both for maximum chaos :p

Ross W. Great reply. In sales you are known as the sucker customer. I think I read in a Paul Curry book. If you include a bent nail Magicians will buy it.
It's not your fault but the company that sell the pizza use the same concept. Buy 1 get 1 free will sell more stock than reduce the product to half price. |

I don't really worry about visibility so I am more interested about how it compares to other characteristics of the code. If this cannot be answered without exposure a simple yes or no will suffice . A PM would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance for answering! PS. I am not trying to fish for the method, I just want to determine whether or not this deck has any more to offer for me besides being more undetectable than the Code. |

"The GPS Deck - Locate any card in a spectator shuffled deck without spreading through the cards!" that's on the first page of this thread...you can't do that with The Code...

Some lovely quotes coming in for GPS & Amnesia Decks
"This deck is an unfair advantage and could be dangerous in the wrong hands." - R Paul Wilson "Let's just say I know a little something about marked decks and these are two you will have a lot of fun with. Very clever ideas here" - Jon Armstrong "I love Steve Gore's GPS deck. It's G-reat! P-ractical and S-mart!" - Angelo Carbone |

I think both of these decks are equally clever, and Fairly priced too. Im a happy sucker customer.

I don't have the decks yet, just reading up on them in this thread etc. However, I do not think that they are over priced if they are as advertised. I too have The Code and after watching the live performance of the Amnesia deck, saw some similarities. But once the deck was cut, that went out the window. I am definitely interested in getting these decks to play with but even if I did not, I have to say those were two of the best trailers I have ever seen. Great job, Steve.

If Steve's decks make you so unhappy, why don't you just move on to another thread where you can make positive comments about a product you actually do like, instead of hurling childish insults at people who happen to have a different opinion than you. |

Childish is the type of person you are. If you and your friends are happy to play with magicbox playing cards I don't care. If you are not allowed to point out why someone would produce a product which he has to pay himself to make a profit and depend on magic nerds to recommend it that's fine with me.
I love your comment just move on somewhere else. That's a playground saying, but when talking with playground magicians I will move on. blurrylines you can get the lollipop. Ahhhhhhaaaaa. |

I have now tested the GPS Deck out - this is a great deck for any cardician.
I find it very easy to locate any card in the deck and that is great. So, if you want to locate any card in a shuffled deck quickly, then this is the playing cards you need. This is a dreamdeck - makes many miracles possible [the easy way]. Thanks Steve Gore for a great idea and a speedy service. Magically Yours Mats Kjellstrom |
