Hi all,
When I'm working on my close-up pads, the 'corners' of my fingertips 'sort of' get caught on the surfice and make a screeching sound. I keep my nails pretty short and make sure to trim the corners further in, but I can't figure out, other than cutting my fingers off, how to get the sound to stop. Ideas? Best, D. |

Sounds like you are using a fluffy thick pad.
Get the best close-up pad available. The Gibson pads are the best. Go here: https://tricksupply.com/product/close-up......-gibson/ Find a color you like, and enjoy. I don't think they use thick nap, and that is good thing for you. Next stop pressing down so hard on the cards, as you spread them, a lighter touch is best so the cards spread evenly. Practice makes perfect. |

In my humble opinion, the mats you can find here are better than the Gibson
