Hi all,
I have recently seen a few videos online of people doing tricks where on spectator picks a card and another is able to name it with no (apparant) magicians choice, no (apparant) switches, and no (apparant) stooges. For example on Simon Blacks ATT Lecture he performed a trick in which Greg Wilson cut the cards several times under the table and took the top two, placing them in his back pocket without knowing their identities. It was possible for Simon to know the cards (through a method he discusses in the Lecture, but somehow he is able to get Greg to name the correct card. The only method I could think of is that Greg was stooged, but Simon (apparantly) performs the trick the same way for laymen. Does anyone have any insight into this? Any books/DVD's to check out that may help me? Thanks, Charlie |
