I have a Countryman E-6 earpiece cardioid microphone. The problem is that it moves some, as our illusion program is quite physical. Any ideas for keeping it in place on my face? (Staples are not an option!)
Thanks! |

Yes two things. One you can get flesh tape and tape down the wire behind your ear. This will stop from moving around (thanks Lance Burton on this one, this is what he does).
Two, really bend the wire to fit snug on your ear. Finally there is a clip on the mic wire, make sure you have that clipped to your shirt with enough wire to move your head from side to side. Hope this helps. The E6 is a GREAT mic! Ken |

If you haven't seen the fitting instructions that Countryman released, check out their website; I noticed a new posting of illustrated instructions on custom-fitting the E6 on the site while looking for some specs on the B6s we're using on "The Full Monty" last week.
