I am looking for a set of traditional cups. Does anyone know where I can find a good set ?
I was looking for a Harrie's Bosco cups but it seems they are not available at that time...
Riser's traditional cups are out of sale...

Check out the RNT2 Traditional Cups; they are very close to the Riser Traditional Cups. I like them better than the Bosco Cups, I like the feel and wight of the RNT2 and Riser Cups better.. unless you need the larger size of the Bosco Cups.

I checked the RNT2 traditional cups, they look perfect in shape but I am looking for taller cups...
RNT2 traditional cups are about 9 cm high and I would like to find a set with is a little bit taller.

I think satin finish would be better for historical reenactment...

What's nice about the RNT 2 tranditionals is they are spun from heavy copper. Others sound hollow type sound and RNT 2 sounds solid.

I sold off my set of Bosco Cups because they were too light.
Also if you find a set of the Bosco Cups the protective finish needs to be removed so they can patina.

No he is not a member of the forum... I have several of his Cups, they look great but again very light in weight.

I presume they are very light in weight because they are made of thick sheet of metal... But our ancestors used that kind of cups...

I bring up the weight issue because if outside the wind can take them down or if your working surface is not stable they can also fall over.

Other than that they are great Cups.

There is a set of traditional in for sale section of the board here. They're brand new.

I work out of doors a lot and use Bosco Cups and the Etsy Tin Cups and have never had wind or uneven ground topple them over. I've been using my Bosco's for over a decade and they've held up perfectly.

Do those Tin cups have a recessed "bottom"? (to set the balls in without them accidentally rolling out) I see every angle pictured but that one. Nice looking cups though. Personally, I use 32 oz hard plastic (insulated) Red Solo Cups with Mike Rogers Baseballs and a 17" souvenir baseball bat for a wand. Baseball themed routine as you would imagine. (my cups are not recessed very much but they do have a ridge that works well with the balls).

I ordered a set of tin cups from The Village Tinner... Can't wait to receive them !

Got my tin cups today !
They are wonderful. Not that light... They handle very well and match with Brett Sherwood's Final loads !
