Quick question for all the gaff fanatics out there....I want a set of coins made but they are uncommon. I can supply the cois needed also. Any recommendations on who to use? And not trying to break the bank Looking for a [, flipper, and split coin.
The coins in question are 1961 silver Mexican pesos thanks in advance to everyone

Nm = nevermind
I wrote a message and then thought better of it. But since I already pushed the post button it went 'live' and you can't delete a post. I had a short amount of time to change it. The people that know what this question is going cause would have thought it funny but it might come off as insensitive to you the OP (Original Poster). So I erased it before it went permanent. It was along the lines of- OMFG dude are you trying to start a riot? |

Here's a different answer:
Pretty much any of the custom gaff makers will be able to do this, with varying speed, price, and quality. Who is the best on each of those metrics is highly contested - do some searches of the forum about the "best" gaff maker. (Hint: there's no actual answer.) Depending on where you live, costs (such as shipping) for each gaff maker may vary. Past that, you have to make your own decision on the tradeoffs. |

I guess you are correct figured I'd ask. And I don't take much personally you should have fired off your original post hahha

I think maybe what we need is some sort of FAQ to handle basic intro queries like this. There are *always* going to be newcomers to magic, and also to the Café, who are bound to be unfamiliar with well-worn topics that make old timers here roll their eyes. It's just the circle of life....
For a supernatural chiller mixing magic (prestidigitation, legerdemain) with Magic (occultism, mysticism), check out my novel MAGIC: AN OCCULT THRILLER at http://www.amazon.com/Magic-Occult-Thriller-Reed-Hall/dp/1453874836

I am not new to magic or the Café, I do apologize for the repeat question....just put it out there to see if there was something no one had mentioned in the past. Feel free to delete this post.

Unfortunately, Todd Lassen passed away in 2021. A great loss indeed. Expect if anyone is selling their coins from him is going to mark up the value. I have a lot of Lassen Products (some he did especially for me as I gave him certain coins). I'll never part with his work of arts. .
You know how to make God laugh?........... Tell him your plans!!!

Agree with Salby.
I knew Todd for over 20 years and amassed quite a big collection. My favorites are the gaffs he did with the Half Crown Victoria Jubilee and Seated Liberty Half Dollars. Though I have started selling some of my magic collection, I can’t seem to separate myself from my Lassen collection. |

The Ramsay Stack arrived and it's very nicely made. Keuppers did a great job. I hope the fellow still waiting for his order receives it soon.

I had very bad purchase experience with Roy Keuppers.
I bought MENAGE A3, OXF , Copper/Silver,Glitch change in the same time. The MENAGE A3, OXF quality is really bad...After the shxxl of oxf is covered with the flipper, it will shake, and it can only cover half of it.The quality is too bad. The C/S set is just OK. The worst thing is that I waited for more than half a year, during which time Roy hardly responded. I have dealt with Todd , Jamie , Tango and they are good maker. Roy is the worst coin maker I've ever traded. |

I've contacted Jamie Schoolcraft twice within the past three months via his site's contact form. No reply. Is he still making coins?
