Ok I finally got this (@ 40 bucks, ok) sometime back and have been playing around with the 'book test' in there.
Earlier on, there was a lot of belly dancing - tempting n teasing on this thread. Added to that there was no proper content description. So I passed it. Anyway I have quite a bit of Bob's material. But after a couple of strong recommendations that I trust, I got this. For those who are NOT much familiar with Bob's work, this will be a great resource - even at $40. Good usable and workable material. But for those already familiar with Bob's work - you may not find much new stuff here. For me personally, though, this was worth many times the 40$ I spent. The reason is the very special book test Bob teaches. I have already 'killed' half a dozen times with it, so far and am really enjoying it. And that is the main reason for this review.

So what you're saying is, is that if you had trusted all of us who were saying "I bought this sight unseen, cos its bob, and I love the dictionary/book test" - you'd have had an extra $20 to buy pizza, a beer and a couple of cheap books?

And if penguin or Bob had put a description in that was worth reading people wouldn't have to buy it and hope for the best or read single line reviews which are just "buy this, I did", meaning many people would have the extra $20 from getting it earlier or just not getting it because they knew they didn't want the content it provides.

Yeah, thing is, users aren't hear to meet the demands of other users and to deliver an indepth review and be the ones to take that chance with the money to help others...
If I stump up the hard earned cash, I'm not obliged to write up an indepth review every time I buy something...and its also impossible..hence the short sentence bits... If they don't meet your criteria, then you too have to take the same chance as I and others did, using your own set of criteria... In this instance: Bob Cassidy Close up environment Six or so things taught $20 That was my judgement criteria Everyone has their own, and as the price was timed, nothing else to give other than a one liner...wouldnt have had the tine to write an indepth review breaking it all down within 24hrs, cos...well...life.

Since this topic came up, I will mention that I've been wondering about something that is really none of my business.
It is just a matter of curiosity. Who is collecting the royalties for the countless Bob Cassidy products sold all over the internet? |

Shortly after Bob died, I had to remove all of Bob's material, both physical and downloadable, from my website and cancel projects that I had planned to come out, such as a video of a lecture he did in Southern California and future volumes of The Artful Mentalism of Bob Cassidy. - Jheff

I did not really expect an answer to my question. But I thank you for it just the same.
Why did you have to remove all of his materials from your site? Penguin and Lybrary.com both have tons of Bob Cassidy material on their sites. Is there an heir that is limiting his material to just these two sites? |
