About 10-12 yrs. ago I received as a gift a set of gold(plated walnut shells. I have since lost instructions if there were any. So, now I am back and promised to do a
routine/show at the PT Clinic that I attend 3 days a week learning how to walk without the use of a "walker". I would like to include the Shell Game but need instructions. Can anyone help me with Instructions? Thx, Rich Lucas |

Here is a video tutorial on the 3 Shell Game you can download and learn quickly.
http://llepub.com/index.php?main_page=pr......s_id=237 Here is the set you most likely have, it is an import by Magic Makers. Do not believe it came with instructions, if it did, it was basic text one page instructions. http://www.magicmakersinc.com/p-76-golden-3-shell-game.aspx There are some booklets available as well at many magic sites. |

I got this one:
http://www.thehandsofmagic.com/the-hanxa......ame.html It has a lot of good information from the basics through more advanced ideas. For less than a fiver you can't really go wrong. |

You can't go wrong with either the School for Scoundrels DVDs, Bob Sheets has a couple of good DVDs too. Frank Garcia has a quick, good routine on his Stars of Magic DVD that isn't too hard. It will take a fair amount of practice to get even decent at the shells.

The boot camp DVD is, I'm my opinion, the best teaching for the shells. The Gary Oulette book is also a good basic source and teaches an excellent and easy to learn routine.

Bill Hegbli,
I obtained the DVD you recommended, very straight forward but, for the life of me I cannot get the pea to move. I am using a sponge-backed Magicians pad. What could be wrong? |

One of the best routines is Super Shells by Gary Ouellet. This routine is marketed by Camirand Academy, but they do not sell directly anymore.
